| Daytona Motorcycles, Surrey B.C. Craig Parsons provided the initial Project Management Services for the project, hiring and coordinating all the consultants. This was a project that was only going ahead if the owner didn’t have to install a sprinkler system. The building in the picture is a new building in front of an old building. By increasing the size of the old building code required that the old and new building would have to be outfitted with sprinklers. Craig was able to come up with a firewall and rated drop door system that would allow the buildings to be connected yet the code would treat them as separate buildings minimizing the square footage and saving the owner hundreds of thousands and allowing the project to proceed. Craig Parsons then acted competitively as a General Contractor to complete the project. Construction time 3 months. | ||

Was involved with detailed site investigation to confirm that it was okay to build the building, since is constructed next to Feed Mill, which is high hazard occupancy and there were sprinkler supply water problems. |
